Website Update

Gonna start posting updates to my website here instead of on the home page there. So here is the first one:

Added challenge week 3 to Art under Illustration.

Also, removed ugly border from all the illustration thumbnails. Now just gotta get around to removing it from the comics and sketches sections.

Soon, probably after challenge week 4 is finished, I'll remove old updates from the main page (maybe lump them all in one post here for memories sake?) and put something else there, like a happy intro.

Alright. Later!

Challenge Week 3: Post Apocalyptic Space Love

It's done! This is the one I thought would be the easiest, and it was the most difficult so far! Most of the time was spent on the coloring. Arg. Ah well. If I have time I'd like to scan the "roughs" of the couple, especially the guy (their roughs are on separate papers), I like how they came out, and I enjoy seeing the pencil stages of other peoples art. *shrug* We'll see.

Here it is:

Ah... post apocalyptic space love. Makes ya feel all gooey, yeah? Requested by Kelly. Hope you like it Kelly!

Finished at 11:20 pm Monday. This one was more complex than the other two, which means I kinda cut down on time, right?

Till next time...

Challenge Week 2: Magda

Hello! Here it is, Magda from the tv show Dark Shadows:

Hope you like it Steve!

This one is also on my website, in the art section under illustrations.

I'll say this about it: Grayson Hall (the actress who played Magda) is one hard woman to draw. For me anyways. A lot of time was spent this past week just trying to "get" her. Also, it is very hard to find any pictures of her as Magda for reference. I wonder why there isn't more of her online? There's enough Dark Shadows fans out there.

Alright, see you next week!

Challenge Week 1: Franky vs. Michael Bay

It is done! Just a note, this is a one page comic done in the style of "One Piece," as requested by my brother.

It reads right to left like a Japanese comic! Try reading it from left to right like a western comic and it wont make sense.

Just click on the thumbnail above to see the comic!

See you next week!

Challenge Week 1: Update

It's all penciled and ready to ink! Inking is the easy part. If the rest of the world doesn't get in the way tomorrow it will be up.

So expect number 1 tomorrow (Monday) after which I'll merrily begin on number 2.

Time to Draw!

Alright, there were 4 people to respond to the challenge, with a total of 7 requests. How this will be is that, since there are 4 separate people, what the random draw will be is to determine what order I'll do the drawings, and those who had multiples will have a random draw to see which of theirs will be done. Good? Good.

Here it goes:

1st: Brian, his second request.

2nd: Steve, his first request.

3rd: Kelly, her only request.

4th: Desmond, his only request.

And there it is. Until next. Ta!
